An additional 8% administration fee will be charged. Those administration fees are not refundable in case of cancellation.

To another runner:

Registration is personal. However, it is possible to transfer a registration to someone else until 4 weeks before the opening of the first day of bib distribution (date) provided that the runner who will benefit from the registration transfer also meets the entry conditions. A HK$200 transfer fee applies.

Once the recipient has accepted and completed the transfer, the original registrant will be cancelled and refunded. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. The transfer fee will be deducted automatically from the refund.

To another race of the same event: It is possible to transfer a registration to a shorter distance until 4 weeks before the event and in the limit of places available. In this case, no refund will be made. The event organiser must be contacted directly via email. It is also possible to ask to transfer a registration to a longer distance but the request will not be automatically accepted and will be at the discretion of the race director.

Transfers are only available if the new distance is not sold out.

To promote gender equity and inclusion in trail running, UTMB Group introduced a pregnancy policy for all UTMB World Series Events in 2023. In 2026, it was expanded and renamed the Paths to Parenthood Policy to support athletes who are pregnant, using surrogacy, adopting, or pursuing Medically Assisted Reproduction (MAR), along with their partners.

Priority registration for runners holding a valid UTMB index will be open for 48 hours, commencing on April 14th at 18:00 (Hong Kong time, GMT +8), offering an early bird discount (limited offer, first come first serve basis). Following this period, registration will be available to all runners, regardless of UTMB index status, until the specified date and time or until race slots are filled.

Minimum age

TransLantau 15km : 16 years old (born in year 2010 or before), with a parental permission

TransLantau 25km : 18 years old (born in year 2008 or before)

TransLantau 50km : 18 years old (born in year 2008 or before)

TransLantau 100km : 18 years old (born in year 2008 or before)

Elite Runners :

In order to give fair recognition to high level athletes and to ensure a fair management of entry applications, we reserve places for elite athletes according to their UTMB Index in the category of the race they chose to compete. Elite runners must register during the registration period. No registration will be accepted after the deadline.

Runners meeting the criteria may benefit from the above registration conditions.

In the case of the cancellation of a race, for any reason whatsoever, decided more than 15 days before the departure date, a partial refund of the registration fees will be made. The amount of this refund will be determined in such a way as to enable the organization to cover all the non-recoverable expenses incurred as of the date of cancellation. In the event of cancellation decided less than 15 days before departure or in the event of interruption of the race, for any reason whatsoever, no registration refund will be made.
