is a community art project that is bringing Lantau island's native birds to life through murals on abandoned buildings across the Lantau that bring visitors to Lantau. TransLantau by UTMB is seeking to support this initiative by leaving a lasting legacy on the island by funding the artist to paint more birds. Runners will pass by some of those already in place on the course and will be able to choose a bird to have painted. Hikers are coming from all over Hong Kong to hunt down the murals.
