Challenge the trails of South Lantau Island
TransLantau50 by UTMB® covers 51km on the most scenic trails of South Lantau Island, including 5 climbs for a cumulative elevation gain of 2,300 meters. This is a challenging trail run which requires adequate training to complete the full route within 12 hours.
The route will be marked with reflective orange ribbons and signs at intersections. There will be 4 checkpoints (see locations on map) with drinking water, electrolytes, cold and hot food (only water at the CP1).

Mandatory Gear
Athletes must carry the mandatory gear at all times during the race. You should be prepared for random checks on the course, and if you are missing any item you will receive a time penalty and may not be allowed to continue the race.

NOTE: Hiking poles. If you decide to use poles, you must keep them throughout the whole race. It is not allowed to start without poles and recover them up along the way.
Support Crew
Support is allowed only at the tolerated checkpoints. No pacer allowed.
Most checkpoints have a public transport access:
🎯 T1: Chi Ma Wan. Assistance not tolerated.
🎯 T2: Pui O. Easy access by bus from Mui Wo to Pui O (10 min), buses #1, #2, #3M (every ~30min), then <5min walk.
🎯 T3: Pak Kung Au. Regular buses from/to Tung Chung or Mui Wo.
🎯 T4: Pak Mong. Assistance not tolerated.
