Challenge the trails of South Lantau Island

TransLantau50 by UTMB® covers 53km on the most scenic trails of South Lantau Island, including 5 climbs for a cumulative elevation gain of 2,600 meters. This is a challenging trail run which requires adequate training to complete the full route within 12 hours.

The route will be marked with reflective orange ribbons and signs at intersections. There will be 4 checkpoints (see locations on map) with drinking water, electrolytes, cold and hot food (only water at the CP1).

Hybrid Rules & Regulations

  • The event period is from October 28 to November 18, 2022. Participants can start anytime during this period.
  • The cut-off is extended to 14 hours (there is no intermediary cut-offs).
  • There is no aid station (no food and no drink) on the course.
  • The course is NOT marked with signage (but you can check the course on our mobile app LiveRun).
  • You are recommended to use our app LiveRun or Strava (link with the route below) in addition to your own GPS device to validate your race performance.

  • Mui Wo start point (Km 0)
  • Lo Yan Shan@Chi Ma Wan (Km 13)
  • Sunset Peak (Km 42.3).
